《Music From Another Dimension》是继2004年《Honkin' On Bobo》后史密斯飞船的最新录音室唱片，该唱片的制作人是Jack Douglas(杰克·道格拉斯)，他曾操刀只做过史密斯飞船乐队1975年经典大碟《Toys In The Attic》。
关于这张唱片，史密斯飞船乐队吉他手Joe Perry(乔·佩里)之前在接受采访时说：“这张唱片比之前的唱片听起来更加现代，这不是一张坐在那里演奏的唱片，我们还将继续摇滚。”
