近几年的考试形式在变，但是四六级考试的作文题目无非就是两类，其中加黑的为今年重点：
第一．个人成功成长话题，如逆境( adverse Circumstances)；勤奋（diligence; hard working）；决心（determination）；乐观（optimism）；毅力和坚持（perseverance and persistence）；独立性(independence)；感恩(gratitude)；创新( creation and innovation)；鼓励(encouragement)；自满和谦逊（self-satisfied and modest）；合作（cooperation）；助人为乐和志愿者精神（take pleasure in helping others；volunteer spirit）。
第二．社会热点话题，如环境保护( Environmental protection)，低碳生活（low-carbon life），离婚与少儿教育问题（divorce and education of children），科技发展与传统道德问题(technology development and traditional morality)，关爱与尊重老年人问题（love and respect the old），假冒伪劣产品问题( Counterfeits and unqualified products)，食品安全(food safety)，消费者权益保护问题( The protection of consumers rights and interests)，社会责任和诚信的缺失（honesty and social responsibility），微博与隐私（microblog and privacy），传统文化的传播（traditional Chinese culture），大学生的就业（employment problem of college student），人们对幸福的态度（the attitude to happiness），信用卡的好处（the advantage of credit card），心理健康（psychology problem）
