Hypothesis:the swash of the wave is stronger than the backwash.
Method:Use a swingometer to measure the strength of the swash and backwash. The pointeris going to swing left and right and indicates the angle created by the waves.
1. Put the swingometer into the sandcovering by seawater and have two people to fix it, which will be influenced bythe swash and backwash of the sea.
2. Measure the swash and backwashby reading the angle deflected each time.
3. Record the data.
4. Record it for 12 cycles.
5. Repeat it for differentlocations.
