Why did you choose to take Cambridge English: Advanced?
I chose to take CAE because I felt the need to test my English level in an accurate way. I researched which exam would best fit my future goals, and CAE presented itself as the best since it is widely recognised for both academic and professional purposes.
How do you think Cambridge English: Advanced has helped you to achieve your goals?
CAE helped me achieve my goals in two different ways. Firstly, it helped me to become an English teacher and help others to achieve the knowledge that I have acquired throughout years of study. It also made me a CAE-level English teacher, a status which I'm very proud of. Secondly, I had good grades at school and I enrolled at a university in London, which was my lifelong dream. I was asked to prove my English level and realised that my school grades didn’t mean anything without my CAE. So it really boosted my qualifications in order to satisfy the requirements to fulfil my biggest dream.
What would you say to someone thinking about taking Cambridge English: Advanced?
I'd say go for it. Definitely go for it. Study hard and dedicate yourself to passing the exam. If you're already feeling confident, study more in order to achieve a good grade. Even if you think you don't need it now, I'm sure you'll need it soon. It will be great on your CV and you'll get more chances to study abroad if that's one of your plans. I guarantee your effort will pay off.
