Nowadays,English is everywhere in our daily life,forcing us to learn it well.But I really enjoy the process.Then I'll describe my learning experience according to the sequence of time.Maybe boring,but wish your comment.
As I was a pupil in grade 3,for the first time I learned English and the textbook was NCE1.It's hard for me to get it for my Chinese wasn't good that time.I didn't grasp the phonetic symbol so I wrote the Chinese character to help me remember the pronounce.
Then in middle school,I finished learning NCE2&3.The English is fairly humorous and knowledgable,who made me fall in love with English and do have a firm foundation of English learning.And I found I had the gift for learning language,for I owned a special memory to recite new word.
When entering High School,self-study became an interesting thing.Dictionary is the best teacher.And writing down the explanation and sentence on my notebook had gradually become a habit.Mark pencil was also a perfect tool,which can show unfamiliar words directly.What's more,the teacher's teaching method was colorful.We learned not only English but also English culture and art.
At present,I'm in college. The English class is much more colorful.We don't merely focus on the textbook.We do more listening and speaking practices.From the class discussion,I can always get some new ideas.
