Submissions for new bots in patch 2.11
There will not be any new bots in patch 2.10, but we do want to open up submissions for new bots for patch 2.11. Those will have to be selected before the first beta for 2.11, so to have enough time expect a new round of submissions in a few weeks already. Please don't post submission topics just yet: we will get to that soon but not yet. Do share your progress with the community so that they can test and give feedback already! As before you will be able to submit new bots and new, better versions of existing bots.
There is no final plan yet, but the current plan is to open submissions for new bots on June 11 and make the final choice for new bots on June 17. There will be rounds for later patches, but these are currently the expected dates for bots to be included in patch 2.11.

As others have already said, this won't happen in the current beta yet. Betas will become free and open at some point, but not yet. We might put specific parts of a beta up publicly before that if they need further testing. The main betas however will remain for backers only for the moment.
The map will be in beta without graphics, so it will just be the collision boxes, no real art. This way we can change things quickly and don't need to throw away art when the layout needs to change.
