COLD作为形容词可以指天气寒冷，要想说极其冷，那么可以用freezing，也可以指人冷酷，冷淡，冷静be cold to/towards对···冷淡。

名词有寒冷bear/endure cold忍受严寒，还有伤风感的意思catch/have a cold患感冒。
这几天天冷 大家裹成粽子了没哈哈哈

除此之外,cold还有我们用的比较少的副词用法，是指完全地、彻底的，如The actress has her lines down cold，这个女演员把台词背的滚瓜烂熟。
这个是不是比较生僻，应该对大家有用的哈

你冷酷你无情哈哈 还记得琼瑶里的这句经典台词么

3、to get cold feet
这个神马意思你们知道吗，，，猜猜看哈哈

冬天里身上冰凉是再正常不过的了，不过to get cold feet这个短语和你的双脚冷可是没有任何关系的，这个短语的意思是临阵退缩、失去勇气。

5、out in the cold
冰冷之外？卤煮瞎说的哈哈哈哈 具体释义看楼下。

由在冰天雪地的室外，引申到感觉被忽视，遭排斥，He is out in the cold although most of the children seem to get on well together.　　而out cold等同于unconscious ，如Unfortunately，the ball hit the boy in his head and knocked him out cold for nearly 5 minutes.

6、cold turkey冷淡的人；突然停止（坏习惯）
