As the title states, the Homefront mod will be changing focus from the tried and true Homeworld series to the prequel, Deserts of Kharak. At this time, I do not know if modding is supported, but we would love to shift focus to a game with new technologies that allow space and land capabilities.
Transferring the mod from classic to remastered as posed quite a problem with how the game files have been structured in terms of models and textures. This means that in order to move the mod to remastered, everything has to be redone. With a new game on the horizon, we have decided to push into new territory rather than try and reclaim old territories. That isn't to say we won't come back to the remastering of Homefront, but our focus will be on trying to learn new techniques and abilities with a fresh game that can take advantage of today's newer technologies.
