Good morning, my dear teachers
It is with pleasure that I am given a chance for this interview today. My name is Li Qi, I am 22 years old. I come from LangFang a very beautiful city, and I am currently an undergraduate student in HeBei university of Science and Technology, I expect to graduate in July of this year, but I am here, as this point of the interview, striving to stay for another three years for postgraduation studies.
I love the environment here, especially the cherry blossom, and I have great admiration for the teachers and professors here. This plan for postgraduation examination is not a recent one, as I have been preparing for it since two years ago - so you can say that it is a long time dream of mine to be a postgrad.
I am a hard-working and determined student, and I won't stop in the face of difficulties. Moreover, I am open-minded, quick in thought, and very fond of mechanics and technology. In addition to my studies, I have a broad list of interests which I pursue in my spare time, and my favorite of them all is reading. My favorite subject to read about, as you might have guessed, is mechanics and technology. Frequently, I engage in discourses on the forums on the Internet, exchanging ideas and asking questions amongst my peers.
I strongly believe that one will easily lag behind unless one continues his learning and self-improvement. So if I am given a chance to continue my studies here as apostgraduate student, I will spare no efforts to obtain excellence and master the subject.
