Your hope was crushed upon seeing how it had failed you; theandroid didn’t seem to be working at all. The dealer was right, this Kaito’s junk.

Before he could finish that sentence, the both of you were quite frightened as you pounced back to see the blue haired robot suddenly opening its illuminating blue eyes, it’s iris having a computerized glow to it as it silently scanned the environment, soon looking to the dealer as if thoroughly scanning him, until finally, the Kaito android had turned it’s head towards your form, slowly observing you as it scanned you from head to toe in a
systemic manner, finally acknowledging the presence of a new human standing before him.
…A new human…

You may not study the Japanese language but you have seen enough anime to know what he was saying, still… This didn’t seem like much of a problem to you, come on! It’s a frick’en humanoid robot that speaks Japanese! Who doesn’t want that?!

“It worked? Well, I see it’s still calling people ‘master’. Then I guess that part of his data isn’t fully messed up, but still‐ it’s a defective vocaloid, we’re keeping it here”
“I’ll buy it!”
“…Didn’t you hear what I had said?”
“ I SAID I’LL TAKE IT!”
…. There was complete silence after that, the dealer raising his hands in defeat since he can’t argue with the customer.

“All systems are operating at 100% effectiveness, masuta! Would you like for me to check for possible system errors, masuta?”
Upon hearing it speak to you so intelligently, calling you ‘masuta’ all the time, you looked back at the dealer with a smile. Though it may be ‘defective’ as he may say, you didn’t think there would be much of a problem. He seems fine to you, for now, and it’s not like you’re going to wait for another Kaito vocaloid to arrive in the next stock, and this one’s
cheaper due to its ‘faultiness’‐ not that you were a total cheap’s cake!

Before the place should close down, you had signed all the necessary documents there is available in concerns to purchasing the vocaloid upon the first hefty payment, despite the deduction of the price, it was still pretty expensive.
You might have thought that this was a bit of a great deal, but to be honest, you had no idea WHAT you were purchasing. The defective vocaloid’s software was far more messed up than what the dealer had described, a problem not even reprogramming could solve.

With heavy breaths, you began to observe the blue haired voca‐droid, watching it robotically raise its head and slowly opening its glowing, blue eyes, staying that way for a couple seconds, as if still in the process of booting itself up, until finally.
“… System is fully operational for input processing. What are your instructions, masuta?” It spoke, looking directly at you with blue, programmable eyes, its zany voice so synthetic and computerized… sounding the same as the original Kaito.
You carefully stood properly as you watched it, realizing that it was looking directly at you and nothing else, its gaze intensely locked unto yours.
“…You’re creepy” you mumbled with a sudden smile, placing your hands by your hips, still inspecting the automaton before deciding on an instruction.
