Well. It seems like they changed the art style a little bit. I also really miss the original ep and ed. Those were so awesome.
As for the episode, he killed two people when not a single person died the whole first season. I'm sure that's more due to the setting than anything, but kinda strikes home with the contrast. I hope we get to see the rest of the characters more, as Obu and Rei are awesome, and the rest are pretty decent in their own way.

Whoever subtitled this has a poor grasp of the English language. Some words were spelled completely incorrectly and left me replacing them using context. I normally quickly scan the subtitles and try to listen to what they are saying but the subtitles kept tripping me up. I can't imagine being OK with putting something this flawed out. I've seen translations that aren't converted to match common English phrases but never have I seen spelling such spelling errors, use of non-existent words, and blatantly improper grammar till now. Before you assume I've only been watching anime for a few years and that is why I haven't come across this I'll correct that mistake it's been 6 years. I'll be able to finish the episode if I have to by leaning on the Japanese I know, and what translations he gets correct but only after I search for an alternative to this.

If you read the comments on the series description page, the guy who subbed this explains how he did it and why it's bad. He started with Spanish subs, translated them to his native German, and then to English. With that many translations, there are bound to be mistakes, even if the Spanish subbing was flawless (which I doubt).
So cut the guy some slack. It's not like he's getting paid for his work...

Damn!!! This anime is very underrated I say but I miss this anime because it is one of the amazing anime that was release in Winter 2016 (last year). So many things happened and the MC is very different but I guess I have to appreciate the author works. No matter happens gonna stick to this anime :)

it's me ThatPoorGuy. With the first episode now being hosted by Proxer(.me), it should only be a matter of time before Gogoanime also starts to host the episode.
With that being said I want to clarify some things that came up:
The first thing would be the process of translating. I went to jkanime(.net) and watched the episode with spanish subs. What I did then was simply to type the spanish sentences into a note. After that I translated all the spanish sentences via a translation site into german. After that came the process of putting these phrases into proper sentences. Last but not least I then translated these german sentences into english sentences. After that came the subbing and coding.
Now I want to talk about stuff that bugged me while rewatching the episode:
First of is the color of the subs. Sometimes it's very hard to read the sentences, so I'm thinking about changing the color from now on. With this I come to the next agenda: I'm willing to further ''translate'' the anime. Here's my proposal: I'll do it, but at my own pace. Meaning that most likely the next episode would be released on Thursday or Friday.
Let's now get to the grammar part:
I'm more than sure that there are grammar mistakes or generally wrong words. Furthermore I'm not satisfied with the length of some parts of the subs (I was just being lazy lol). Another problem are anime-bound words from which I don't know the proper translations (which also includes names).
Ok and now I want to talk about some corrections for wrong words:
1. Cultivators was pronounced ,,Sennin'' which can also mean hermit, but in regards to the setting I thought that Cultivator was a more proper choice.
2. Reiki could be translated into Qi/Chi/Ki.
3. Reikon is the Spirit Base.
4. Gratitude could also be translated into devotion which would make more sense.
5. It was translated as Chishi Sect (note: chi shi is chinese for eat sh*t lol) but the proper translation should be 7 Star Sect.
6. Jinsou Reikon should be translated into Man made Spirit Base.
7. In regards on how the 7 Star Sect explained on how to elevate (turn into Cultivators) the villagers, they wanted to use a (fake) pill called the 7 Star Pill.
8. Great Cultivator should be translated as God/Gods. Godhood is the highest stage that a Cultivator can achieve. With that Oriku's monologue about the Age of Mappou should make sense.
9. About the situation with the money: The 7 Star Sect wanted Oriku's father to build them a palace and the actual costs weren't 100.000 ryo, but 1.000.000.
10. Shusenkai could be translated as the Elders of a clan.
11. Tokkoucho can be translated as artifact.
12. Concerning the woman in the sword, it seems like she's a spirit inside the sword. Which leads me to point 13: The anime didn't properly explain everything, so I advise everyone to read the Manhua (chinese version of comic).
14. At around minute 15 the old guy said: it's time to think. But the proper translation is Meditation time (he wants to evade Oriku's question).
15. Poisonous animals (the purple butterflies) can be translated as purple heart killer bugs.
Well for now this should be everything haha I guess I see you guys when the second episode is released :)

现在我想谈的东西折磨了我，再看一集：
首先是潜艇的颜色。有时读这些句子很难，所以我想从现在开始改变颜色。我走到下一个议程：我愿意进一步的'translate”动画。以下是我的建议：我会这样做，但按照我自己的步调。意味着下一集最有可能在星期四或星期五上映。
现在让我们进入语法部分：
我敢肯定，有语法错误或一般错误的话。而且我不满意的潜艇部分的长度（我只是懒哈哈）。另一个问题是动漫界的话，我不知道适当的翻译（其中还包括名称）。

5。它被翻译为Chishi Sect（注：赤石是中国吃屎哈哈）但是正确的翻译应该是7星级的教派。
6。Jinsou Reikon应该翻译成人类的精神基础。
7。关于如何解释7星级教如何提升（变成修炼）的村民，他们想用（假）丸称为7星丸。
8。伟大的中耕应译为神/神。神性是修炼可以达到的最高阶段。与Oriku的独白关于mappou年龄应该有意义。
9。了解情况的钱：7星派希望Oriku的父亲为他们建造宫殿和实际成本不是100亮，但000000。
10。shusenkai可以转化为一个家族的长老。
11。tokkoucho可译为神器。
12。关于女人的剑，似乎她是一个灵魂里面的剑。这使我的观点13：动画没有正确解释一切，所以我建议大家读漫画（中文版漫画）。
14。大约15分钟，老家伙说：是时候思考了。但适当的翻译是冥想的时间（他想逃避oriku的问题）。
15。有毒动物（紫蝴蝶）可译为紫心杀手。

Sennin 圣人, at face value means Holy men/women, but hermit and sage can also be used, Its better to use sage than Cultivator in my opinion.
Reiki 灵气，can be called Spiritual energy or well Spiritual Ki, as Rei means spirit/spiritual
the "great cultivator' as I've seen from this manga is like the strongest attainable form for the "xiu shi 修士 (which means practitioner more than monks or disciple. there isn't really a good English word for this word, but it basically means any of the people that uses Ki, maybe just keep the word as is, you know, like Samurai, there isn't an English word for Samurai too) its more like deity-hood
The woman in the sword is a sword spirit (剑灵) not uncommon in Chinese fantasy stories.
monpai（门派）is another word that always seems to be wrong, it means "Clan"
Chi Shi? RIku pronounced it as Shichi Sei Mon. which in no way means eat shit. its just means 7 stars and no, not sect, 7 star clan, Mon means Gate or Clan, so clan is the better word, (well school is a good word too. but I prefer clan)
oh and the Elders of a clan, jio lou（长老), I wasn't paying full attention so I didn't notice the word Shusenkai, but kai can be 开 or 界, the former meaning open, while the latter means boundary, world or dimension, depending on context.
I am a Chinese that can read Kanji (Kanji words are literally Chinese words anyways) and understand Japanese, but I am a lazy dude, it's unlikely that I'll ever do anything for the masses, but here's some corrections for ya
