【语法】几道语法题把我搞懵了。。。

1. I'll take the book with me. I'll read it ________ (when/while) I'm waiting for the plane.
2. I passed the examination with luck, but it was a long time ________ (as/since/before/after) I told my friends about it.
3. It ________ (was/were/wasn't/weren't) until dusk that he realized that it was too late to return home.

1 while 后边接进行时的时候多用while
when多表示突然发生打断了连续的动作
I was having dinner when the telephone rang.
我正吃着饭呢，突然电话响了。
2 before it was a long time before... 表示很久之后才。。
不用since是因为since前面的主句需要用完成时，since后边接过去时间点。
肯定是先考过了再告诉朋友所以不能是after
as表示时间的用法常常接过程性动作，as time passes之类的
3 wasn't 强调句+ not...until...的组合
It was... that...强调句不用are/were
not until跟在is/was后边
