     2010年7月9日，应白俄罗斯外交部邀请，驻白俄罗斯大使鲁桂成夫妇出席第19届“斯拉夫巴扎”国际艺术节开幕式。

观众爆满
     “斯拉夫巴扎”国际艺术节始于1992年，每年7月份在白俄罗斯维捷布斯克市举行，迄今已举办19届。艺术节活动分为艺术品集市（当地人称之为“巴扎”）和文娱汇演。从俄罗斯、乌克兰、波兰、捷克、保加利亚、塞尔维亚、克罗地亚等国赶来的斯拉夫人白天在集市上交换各自的手工艺品和食品，晚上汇集在露天或半露天广场上尽情唱歌跳舞。
     今年艺术节开幕式当天尽管天气炎热，但半露天主会场大厅座无虚席。白总统卢卡申科亲临现场宣布艺术节开幕，俄罗斯总统和乌克兰总统也分别致信祝贺。开幕式隆重热烈，节目精彩纷呈。

     鲁大使在开幕式现场接受了中国中央电视台和当地媒体的采访。他说，“斯拉夫巴扎”国际艺术节是门类齐全的欧洲文化奥林匹克。第一次参加这个盛会，不仅感受到开幕式的隆重气氛，而且感受到这里人们的热情好客。参加“斯拉夫集市”国际艺术节是了解斯拉夫文化、特别是白俄罗斯文化的宝贵机会，也是与独联体及东欧国家进行交流的一个良好平台。希望今后能有更多中国艺术团体参加斯拉夫文化盛典，促进中国与东欧各国人民的友好文化交流。
