Kanye West has weathered his share of scrutiny, but Keri Hilson is standing by her friend through it all. The R&B diva explains why she believes the polarizing rapper deserves more respect.

He can really do no wrong in my eyes,” the songstress tells Rap-Up.com. “He’s very much the genius that he seems to be. I respect him so much musically, an incredible talent of our time. I think that a lot that he does kinda undercuts his creative efforts. I would like to see that change in a major way.”
