Favre: "The players performed very, very well. We turned the game around, that was important because we absolutely wanted to qualify for the round of 16. We managed to do that. It was clear that it would be a tough game: we were playing against the league leaders who are a very good team. Our performance was okay, but we also have a few details to improve on."

Piszczek: "In the second half, we did not allow many opportunities, only a cross when they scored from a header. We then showed good team morale. I am pleased for Julian, he is a great footballer and was finally rewarded for his efforts with two goals. However, we also know what we have to do and what we need to improve."

Hazard: "I could've scored two or three goals. Scoring my first goal at home does me good mentally. I don't think it was my best performance for Borussia Dortmund. I scored my first goal, so that's what people will say. But it's not just about the goal. I've played well in other matches too. Today a goal and an assist, I did my job well. It was very difficult for us today in the first half against Wolfsburg's three centre-backs and the two players in the middle. But the second half was better. We applied more pressure and had more chances. We had more space after going 1-0 up."

You're always going to be up against a team that battles. We need to get used to that. You could see that at a certain point, space opened up for us. We were then able to show our footballing qualities."
