Psytrance, also known as Psychedelic trance, is a genre of electronic music. In the early 90's, it mostly grew out of Goa trance and gradually moved into the mainstream. Planet Dog record labels Timeshard and Eat Static among Goa Trance musicians considered to be among its most influential. The earliest pure Psytrance came from artists under the Dragonfly Records label.
